Each piece represents an experience, a memory, a risk, a reward, maybe even a person.

We start out with whole hearts, untouched. Then comes heartbreak. And after each heartbreak, gaps are always left behind. The cycle repeats itself over and over.

This series doesn't represent this theory as a fact, it simply acknowledges the sentiment.
